Warranty conditions


At BACHES-DIRECT, we are committed to offering tarpaulins of impeccable quality. This is your guarantee of total satisfaction. For these top-of-the-range tarpaulins, we offer an exchange or replacement in the event of abnormal wear. 

We offer a simple, immediate and fair application. The aim is to cover any manufacturing defects or premature aging.

How do I activate my warranty?


If your tarpaulin meets the criteria set out above and has a defect covered by our warranty, please follow these steps to make a claim:


  1. Contact our Customer Service Department: By e-mail to sav@tecplast.com, via the contact form or by telephone by calling our Customer Service Department on +33 4 79 54 04 81.
  2. Provide Details: Indicate your order number, attach your invoice with a detailed description of the problem and clear photos showing the defect or damage.
  3. Claim Processing: Our team will investigate your claim and contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the next steps.



Warranty exclusions :


  • Extreme weather conditions

Torn eyelets will not be covered by the warranty if caused by extreme weather conditions, such as high winds, hail or the weight of snow.

  • Unsuitable mounting and fastening

Excessive wind load: Make sure the tarpaulin is properly fastened to avoid excessive wind catch.

Insufficient slope: An adequate slope (at least 5%) must be maintained to avoid the formation of water pockets.

Wrong tension: The tarpaulin must be correctly tensioned.

The tarpaulin must rest on a rigid structure (wood or metal) over its entire surface (with crosspieces spaced no more than 600 mm apart).

  • Incorrect use

Tears caused by sharp objects: Damage caused by nails, knives, cutters or other sharp objects is not covered.

Burns or modifications to the cover: Any burns or modifications to the cover invalidate the warranty.

Appearance defects: Appearance defects that do not affect the functional aspects of the tarpaulin, such as stains, moss, discoloration or rust, are not covered by the warranty.

Negligent or wilful destruction: Damage caused by negligence or wilful damage immediately voids the warranty.

Detour from Normal Use: Use of tarpaulins for purposes other than those originally intended invalidates the warranty.
